“Thank you for setting up the talk on internet safety tonight by Paul Hay. It was a really valuable presentation and it was great that you offered it to parents. It sounds like Paul did a great job throughout the school and with your team in starting to embed the key messages as well to kick start the conversation with kids, teachers and parents on a topic which needs a consistent approach from trusted adults with the children.” Parent Y1 Child

Alford Academy, Aberdeenshire

"We used PCLS for an internet safety event at Alford Academy. Paul provided inputs to both parents and children which were extremely well received by both groups. The staff were also very impressed by Paul's knowledge and his ability to communicate this to the pupils and parents." - PC Rob Ferrands, School Liaison Officer, Grampian Police

St. Crispins School, Wokingham

"We have held four evening presentations for parents and we have been delighted to welcome Paul Hay as our guest presenter. Feedback from our parents has been very positive and Paul’s presentations have been greatly appreciated. Paul has extensive knowledge of the key E-Safety issues and is able to illustrate to parents the sorts of activities that their children are engaged in when using the Internet. Paul made it very clear to parents that he did not want to alarm them and it was not his intention to tell them what they should do. Paul expertly provided illustrations of the possible dangers of the use of the Internet for teenagers but balanced this with some observations of the many benefits of its use.
The parents appreciated the relaxed and informal nature of the sessions and felt comfortable asking questions and discussing the issues. If there are any other schools considering running similar sessions for their parents then we would strongly recommend contacting Paul. We will certainly be holding these events on a regular basis and we hope that Paul will be able to lead the sessions for us."
- Mike Elward, Assistant Head

Trevelyan School, Windsor

It was very professionally presented and extremely useful. Every other parent I have spoken to has said how worthwhile the evening was.

It provided an overview of the internet safety issues. We did already know about most of these potential problems but it was very worthwhile to hear a professional presentation.

Above all the evening reiterated that by far the best thing we can do is to educate and establish a trusting relationship with our children.  - Parent
